Meriah received her PhD in Nutrition and Health Sciences from Emory University and her MS and dietetic training from Georgia State University. She is currently a postdoctoral fellow in the Department of Human Genetics at Emory where her research is focused on the dietary, metabolic, and cognitive implications of different therapies for PKU. She currently serves as co-chair for the GMDI Research Committee.
