Aly Smith, MS, RD joined UPMC Children’s Hospital in Pittsburgh in 2020 as a clinical metabolic dietitian following eight years of experience in pediatric oncology. She completed a Bachelors in Nutrition from Ashland University, a Masters in Nutrition from The Ohio State University and dietetic internship at The National Institutes of Health. She has previously worked on advocacy and communications efforts with the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and is excited to bring that background to GMDI.
