Maryam N. Altena is a registered dietitian with several years of experience across clinical practice, including inborn errors of metabolism, as well as the clinical nutrition industry. After relocating from the United States to the United Kingdom, she joined the Global Medical Affairs team at Vitaflo International headquarters, where her work centers on leading the creation of evidence‑based education and providing clinical input to support research and development. In 2026, Maryam joins the GMDI Editorial Committee as Co-Chair, having served on the Editorial Committee in 2025.
