The Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ) of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) has evaluated and accepted Nutrition Management Guideline for Maple Syrup Urine Disease: and evidence- and consensus-based approach for inclusion in the National Guideline Clearinghouse. This publication, part of a collaborative project between Genetic Metabolic Dietitians International (GMDI) and the Southeastern Genetics and Newborn Screening Collaborative (SERC) is the first completed of several planned guidelines.
